  • What services do you offer?

    We create personalized consultation packages advising our clients on plant maintenance, pest management, plant selection, and procurement for indoor and outdoor spaces across NYC and Long Island.

  • How does consultation work?

    Our horticultural consultation service is designed to be convenient and accessible. To get started, simply visit our website and and purchase the consultation package that is appropriate for your space and needs.

    Within 24 hours, our team then sends an intake form link to the email used at purchase. Once completed, one of our experienced horticulturists reviews the information and begins crafting your personalized consultation package. This can take between 48-72 hours from the time we receive your completed intake form.

    Once finished we send over PDF’s of your guides and any supplemental readings requested to the same email as stated previously. Each package includes two months of continued support, starting the day you receive your consultation package (see details below).

  • What information do I need to provide?

    During the intake process we ask you please provide your name, email, and details such as the types of plants or issues you're dealing with, the location of your garden or landscape, and any relevant photos. The more information you provide, the better we can tailor our advice to your specific situation.

  • Are there size limitations on what is considered a "space"?

    Whether indoor or out, we understand the “spaces” of New York are as diverse as the people and plants who inhabit them. Instead of determining space limitations based on size, we use the amount of plants in your current or prospective inventory.

    Both Maintenance Plan and Selection + Maintenance Plan packages can include up to 50 individual plants. If exceeded additional consultation packages are required. If you’re unsure about your space please feel free to reach out!

  • How do you ensure the accuracy of your recommendations without physically visiting the site?

    While we may not physically visit the site, we use a combination of detailed client information, photos, and continuing support to make accurate recommendations.

    Each consultation package includes two months of continuing support, from the time you receive your first consultation package. Support can be accessed via email, at giynyc@gmail.com, or through our Contact Page. We also offer Premium Packages for an additional $25, which extends the continuing support window to six months from the time you receive your consultation package. Response time for continued support is 24 hours.

    Our experienced horticulturists are skilled at remote assessments and can provide valuable insights based on the information you provide, so the more detailed the better!

  • How much does consultation cost?

    Both packages, Maintenance and Selection + Maintenance, range from $25 to $100. Please see the shop on our site for more details.

  • Can you assist with large-scale projects or commercial landscapes?

    Yes! Although giyNYC is new, our horticulturists have 10 years of experience working on a variety of projects, including both residential gardens and larger commercial landscapes. Our team is equipped to handle projects of various scales, and we can tailor our services to meet your unique needs. Larger projects may require multiple consultations packages so please refer to the size limitations previously mentioned in this section.

  • What regions do you serve, and do you offer international consultations?

    Currently, our services are only offered in NYC and Long Island.

  • How do you handle sensitive information about my garden or landscape?

    We take the privacy and confidentiality of our clients seriously. Any information you provide about your garden or landscape is kept strictly confidential using industry standard encryption.
